Winter Term News 2025
What an absolutely smashing Mid Year Recital. Our dancers lit up the stage as we celebrated the Disney Channel stars of the 2000s. From catchy throwbacks to star-powered performances, the energy was electric!
We are incredibly grateful to our amazing dancers, our dedicated parent helpers, and our tireless backstage crew. Your flexibility and positive energy made the transition to a new venue and the addition of an extra show look effortless. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our dancers with such a fabulous turn out at every performance.
Planning for End of Year is well under way. We can't wait to reveal our theme to you.
Variations to enrolments
This is the ideal time to make any variations to your enrolment. If you would like to pick up any additional classes - please let us know ASAP so that we can adjust our records moving into Winter Term - and also be ready when costume allocation for End of Year commences in the coming weeks.
Class time this term
During this term dancers will be continuing to work hard on developing their technique. We like to call this our 'level up' time. Where we really focus on working to bump our technique up a notch!
End of Year Spectacular
Please make sure you have the dates set aside for our End of Year Spectacular.
The show will run over two days Nov 15/16. One show on Nov 15 and three shows on Nov 16 (TBC). All dancers 7 years and over are expected to perform in two shows.
All Tiny Dancers and 5/6 Year dancers will only be performing in one show.
Full details about the shows, technical rehearsals, photo days and costumes will be sent out later in the term. The document will be able to be downloaded from the website and saved to any device you choose.

DISNEY CREW FAMILY AND FRIENDS PERFORMANCE
We’re excited to invite you to a special preview performance of our full Disneyland piece on Friday, August 22 at Camden High School Hall!
This evening is our way of saying thank you to all the amazing friends, family, and sponsors who’ve supported us throughout the year. You’ll get to see the full performance in all its glory before we head off on our magical Disney adventure!
There’ll be snacks, soft drinks, and a fun, relaxed vibe — plus this is our last fundraising effort with all ticket sales, raffle sales and snack bar profits going to our Disney dancers. We’d love for you to come celebrate all the hard work, passion, and energy these dancers have poured into this journey.

PAJAMA WEEK
Pajama week is back!
During week 3, Monday August 4 to Saturday August 9, dancers are invited to wear their favorite pajamas to class for one of our teacher’s favorite traditions! Come cozy, come comfy, and get ready to dance in style all week long!

BALLET EXAM INFORMATION
Ballet Examination information will be sent to all candidates in the coming days. Please remember that ballet exams are only offered to candidates who have regular attendance at both classes each week and also those who are READY for their exam. It is important to remember that if your dancer does not get offered an examination during this session - this doesn't mean they will not progress with their friends or they are not working hard. It just means they are not ready yet. There is always the possibility of sitting an exam early in the next year (Sydney 1st instead of Sydney 2nd). We are committed to having each individual dancer achieve their best possible result.
