Disneyland 2027 UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who made it to the meeting last night. Its going to be such and exciting trip. Personally this will be my first time in Hong Kong and I am super keen for the exciting cultural experience as well as the dance opportunity in this magic city!
We are so grateful that Ros was able to come along to our meeting and explain the tour in detail.
Our planned depature will coinside with the April School Holidays in 2027 on Saturday 10th April 2027. While the pricing is ot final at this point - it will be somewhere close to the indicated pricing on our draft itineray. The Dance Space details:
All dancers need to be attending a weekly jazz class (Commercial or regular jazz technique) and it is our preference that they also attend at least one other technique class.
Rehearsals - these will be in two blocks prior to commencing weekly rehearsals.
Block 1 - December 14, 15, 16, 2026 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Block 2 - January 27, 28, 29, 2027 - 9:00am - 3:30pm TBC
Weekly rehearsals - Friday Afternoons from February 5, 2027
Dancers will need to purchase uniform (including shoes), costume, stockings, hair accessories, dance underwear, dance shoes, makeup specific for the tour.
Rehearsals will be charged at a regular class rate - not an 'inflated Disney rate'.
Fundraising
Last tour we had some wonderful fundraising activities. This can be discussed once families have committed and paid their initial deposit.
Next steps:
As Ros highlighted at the meeting; this tour is extremely popular and very well priced. As such we are asking families to confirm their intention in the next two weeks via the form below. This is to ensure we are able to secure our choice of accommodation and to indicate to Qantas the number of seats we would like held on the flight. This will also inform us if we have enough dancers to fulfil the Disney requirements of 20 dancers minimum in the parade.
